Hello everyone. My name is Cassidy and I live in sunny Arizona. I could never see myself living anywhere else since I’m a HUGE weenie when it comes to being cold. I love being busy, and I’m always looking for new things to stay that way.
“What is your passion?” has always been my absolute least favorite question, since my answer of “uhhh I don’t know,” never seemed to suffice. It wasn’t until recent years that I realized I didn’t have a passion, I have multiple. I have a passion for learning, for trying new things, and for creating something from nothing. All of these are pretty vague, which I think is why it was so hard for me to understand for so long. I love school, I love art, I love making things I see on Pinterest. Just because I don’t love one specific thing doesn’t make my passion any less valid.
This used to embarrass me until I embraced it. The more I talked about it the more I realized there are tons of people who feel the same way. If you’re one of those people, I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re not one of those people, I’m also so glad you’re here, just a bit jealous you knew what you loved early on.
So why start a blog and what does Saving Serendipity even mean? WELL, I decided to combine the things I love with the things I’m good at and here we are. I love creating and sharing ideas. I’m good at writing and doing the random stuff I set my mind to.
Serendipity is finding good things without looking for them, and who doesn’t love those sweet little moments. My favorite examples are putting on a pair of old jeans and finding $20 in the pocket. Or searching some random questions online and finding this blog (hehe). I wish I could bottle that feeling up and open it whenever I needed it. In other words, I wish I could save it. So that’s what I’m doing. I’m recording all my serendipitous moments and putting them in this blog bottle for me and anyone to open up when we need it.
