Hello Again!

After an unexpected year and a half hiatus, I’M BACK! 2020 was a weird year, and 2021 was arguably an even weirder year. Most of it feels like a huge blur that went by way too fast, and I nearly lost my mind living to work, but that’s a story for a different day. I learned so much in the last year- about myself and about a bunch of random things. I’ve grown and changed a lot more than I could’ve ever thought, and I can’t wait to reflect this updated version of myself of this updated version of my blog.

Around the time I pretty much fell off the face of the internet, I had been dealing with the two hardest situations of my life. It was a serious wake-up call when it made me realize I’d been living as far away from the edge as possible. I made the decision to stop being scared of everything. Which, of course, did not work because I simply could not just stop being scared of things that scare me. HOWEVER, I could take control of my fears by facing and conquering them. Whenever I heard people talk about the importance of doing things that scare you, I either never listened or for some reason thought I was already listening. Boy was I wrong.

Since the shift in perspective, I have had a newfound love for building, traveling, camping, road-tripping, and a plethora of other things that feel like the polar opposite of makeup and fashion. I still love baking, all things art, and of course a good DIY. I can’t wait to share all the trips I’ve taken and plan to take, as well as things I’ve crafted and plan to craft. And of course, all things car camping!
